Mammoth Wake Essential Mattress review

T3 rated the Mammoth mattress highly, saying: We tested this mattress for several months and throughout this time our reviewers slept noticeably better. Neither too firm nor too soft – and spongy, but without causing us to sink – the material was very responsive. It moulded to us quickly as we moved, providing a superb balance of support and comfort, whether we slept on our side, back or front.

Top Sante were fans: I’ve recently suffered a shoulder injury and sleeping has been awkward, but the Mammoth made it easy to settle into a comfortable position and I felt the mattress offered me the support I needed, most importantly, I did sleep better. The extra support doesn’t come at the cost of comfort though, it also feels luxurious and indulgent and it’s great to relax into it after a long day.

We have had the shine plus mattress for 6 months, the mattress was very well packaged and the quality of materials used to make the mattress are excellent. The mattress is supportive but still medium soft, you can feel your body being supported and for me it helped me relax and my muscle tension ease considerably . My back pain has decreased a lot and I have a better quality of sleep. (June 2020)

Having previously purchased a mammoth mattress two years ago, which we are delighted with, we wanted to buy another Mammoth mattress for our spare room. Both my wife and I suffer with back and hip problems and have found that the Mammoth mattress has helped tremendously. (February 2020)

I've bought dozens of mattresses over the years but this has to be the best one I've ever had. I had a microdiscectomy on my back about five years ago and have struggled to get comfortable in bed since but have felt much better since getting this. (December 2019)

Lovely and comfortable, supportive yet soft, easy to spin around as per guidelines supplied. Took a week or so for initial glue like smell to dissipate, but this was clearly explained in the accompanying documents. I was going to hold on to my old mattress for a few weeks just in case but the new one was so good I took the old one to the dump after two days! (May 2019)
