Should I buy a Dormeo Mattress?

Dormeo’s ethos is to cut out the middleman to provide cheaper mattresses directly to their customers. Some of their mattresses are available through several online retailers, however Dormeo's own website stocks over 30 mattresses, using different combinations of memory foam, springs and latex. The idea is that there’s a mattress to suit most sleepers.

Out of all their mattresses, the S plus range tends to rate highly with the press and consumers, providing good spine and back support for users. What is noticeable with the Dormeo range is that some of their mattresses are extremely thin and are probably best suited to spare rooms rather than as permanent beds. The thicker mattresses offer better support and retain their structure well.

Do note that Dormeo’s couriers do not seem to be the quickest, so make sure you order your mattress with plenty of time to spare!

The Independent included the Dormeo S plus memory foam mattress in their best mattresses of 2020, saying: This mattress – which arrives rolled and vacuumed – has two separate cores, which can be rotated and flipped independently so you get a firmer or softer feel for different areas of your body. In other words, it’s incredibly personalised – and you get no gap or slippage between the two cores. We also like the S shape of the core that mirrors the natural curve of the spine to support you in all the right places (head, shoulders, hips and legs) no matter what position you sleep in and even when you rotate it.

Dormeo’s 60-night trial allows you to test a mattress for 60nights to see if it suits. Choose a mattress at Dormeo’s website and trial it for up to 60 nights. If you’re not happy contact Dormeo who will either suggest an alternative, or help you return the mattress for a full refund.

How does Dormeo's guarantee work?

What are Dormeo’s delivery costs?

Dormeo will deliver using standard shipping for free. If you purchase an Octaspring mattress, you’ll automatically be entitled to Dormeo’s free white glove service. A team will deliver the mattress, set it up in a room of your choice and collect your old mattress.

How long does Dormeo’s delivery take?

Most mattresses are delivered within 14 days.

Receiving your mattress

Is there a right way to unpack the mattress?

The Dormeo mattress is packed for convenience. Just unbox, roll the mattress out, remove the plastic wrap and the mattress is ready for sleeping. The mattress should not be left in its box for any longer than four weeks. Dormeo recommend that you wait 6 hours before sleeping on the mattress so that it can fully expand.

How do I return my mattress?

Mattress care

Do Dormeo mattresses need turning?

Dormeo advise rotating your mattress head to toe every two weeks. There is no need to turn it.

Does the mattress require a special slat frame?

No! The Dormeo mattress is designed to lie on any surface and bed frame. The only recommendation is that slats are no further than 7.5cm apart on a slatted bed base.
